多摩美出身で構成されたバンドPico-systemのトラックメーカーとして音楽活動をスタートした後、2005年よりhajimeinoueとしてソロ名義での活動にシフトチェンジ。 絵画的な構成、柔らかなPADサウンドと多様なビートのトラックメイクを特徴とし、日常の情景を切り抜いたようなサウンドが話題となる。 緻密なトラックメイキングとは対象に、リアルタイムにサウンドを構築していくスタイルとダイナミックなパフォーマンスが注目され、多方面において幅広く活躍中。 2020年6月、約6年ぶりの音源”REWIND”をSL9よりリリース。
